Jon Melville is a UK based sax player, arranger and composer. Having studied primarily composition and performance (piano then saxophone) he moved to Leeds to begin a career performing around the country (and beyond) and teaching in schools and privately. Over the years Jon has performed or worked with/for The Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Giorgio Moroder, Shed Seven, Jane Mcdonald, London Elektricity Big Band, Jaki Graham, Katrina Leskanich (Katrina and the Waves), Diane Shaw, Roachford, Hope & Social, The Mini Big Band, Abstract Hip Hop Orchestra, and various other well known names in music, along with several theatre shows, many function bands, bar and pub gigs all over the country and abroad.
